In today’s tuner world, everyone claims to be a tuner. Well, for those in the know, the best tuners are the busy tuners and to travel 3+ hours to have a master tuner at the helm is fast becoming not so out of the ordinary. The nightmare stories you hear at the weekly meets and all the exaggerations of high HP numbers from so and so tuner can make your head spin. A reputation of a good tuner goes a looong way.
Danny Perez of DMT Tuning is one of the trusted master tuners of EVO’s and Subbie’s and comes highly recommended by some rather quick EVO’s. I have to tell you, we arrived at 10am on a Saturday and a line of EVO’s had already started. By the time it was our turn on the Dyno, it was 6pm. Not that I’m complaining about the wait, good things come to those who wait, and it was certainly worth watching a master tuner squeeze out 578HP from a heavily modified Subbie among the other EVO 8’s, 9’s and 10’s
When it was our turn, Danny got to work, gave us a few options, then got to work on updating the tuning on our EVO 10. All and all, I hope Danny the best of success. He is definitely a tuner that I will recommend with full confidence in bringing out the best tunes for your work in progress.
