McLaren will be taking the new 2012 McLaren MP4-12C across North America to a few select dealers to show it off to prospective clients and interested fans. September 1st and 2nd the car will be in Ontario Canada showcased by Pfaff Automotive Partner, after which its off to the windy city of Chicago for Lake Forest Sportscars. The MP4-12C was first showcased at Pebble Beach Concours to a media frenzy. For a mere $250,000 there will be some people lining up to buy this car for sure. The Audi A1 just launched not to long ago and already Senner Tuning, a German based tuning company, has stepped up to the plate. They decided to bump the 108bhp 1.6 TDI motor to a tune of 138bhp. If the power upgrade is not enough for you, Senner offers a complete tuning package including adjustable KW suspension, upgraded Barracuda T6 wheels, sport exhaust and even special paint. As one of the first companies to offer a complete package for the A1, we can surely see the potential. I just can’t wait to see what other companies have in store for the new A1.

Opel, the GM German car producer is going to be expanding into at least 4 new markets. They’re targeting China and the Australian markets to start. Hopefully Opel will decide to come Stateside because they should do very well over here.

Seen going around the ‘Ring is the new 2012 Porsche Boxster. The car was getting some final testing done before the car gets debuted later this year or early next year in time for the Geneva Show. Expect a minor face lift along with a few motor tweaks, but the biggest change is the possibility of a 4 cylinder motor. We’re curious as to what 4 banger in the VAG catalog they would use. Porsche definitely hooked up the Boxster for some serious testing as you can see in the pictures.

We all, or I should say most of us have had a few different cars and modified them. There comes a time though when we move on because the car is wrecked, we can not afford it or just want something different.
